Cattlemen Curb Outlaws, 7-3
|
Cattlemen left fielder Craig Woods put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Nashville Outlaws. Woods was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Ft. Worth in the contest. David Buchanan was credited with the save for Ft. Worth, his 3rd of the season. The Cattlemen sit in 4th place in the Silver League with a record of 52-44.
Ft. Worth relied on the hitting of Min-gook Ch'oe to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Cattlemen on top, 2-0. For the game, Ch'oe had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I felt good up there," said Ch'oe. "I saw the ball well."
