Brewster Goes on Rampage Against Beavers
Tuesday, May 17th, 2039
After a 5-hit effort to lead Amarillo's 13-3 victory over the Northwest Territory Beavers, shortstop Bruno Brewster told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the M3L Rookie-level is really something special."

The 16-year-old player earned his accolades today at Beaver Town with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Beavers.

"His swing is getting there," said Submarinos skipper Seth Rice, who spoke glowingly of Brewster after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Bruno did that to perfection today."

Bruno Brewster hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season Brewster has hit no home runs and posted a .224 batting average.
