3R's Best Player for 2039 Named
Tuesday, September 27th, 2039
At the age of 21, Roland Rankin of the Northwest Territory Beavers could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2039 was good enough to win the second baseman the M3L Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .351 batting average this year, as well as a .410 on-base percentage. He played 96 games and racked up 134 hits, 30 doubles, 7 triples, 8 home runs, 50 RBIs and 58 runs scored.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12. Ricardo Águila of the Greenport Harbor Whales finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Ángel Saelices of the Greenport Harbor Whales finished third.
