M3L Rookie Announces Top Starter Thursday, September 1st, 2039 In August Northwest Territory starter António León mystified M3L Rookie hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 3-0 record in 5 starts. The 21-year-old León added 44 strikeouts in 31 innings and 5 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.87 ERA. Opposing batters hit .190 against him. So far this year León has made 17 starts, tossed 91.1 innings, struck out 115 batters and walked 16. His record is 7-3 with a 2.66 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .218 batting average. |
