Riley Silences Greenport Wednesday, August 3rd, 2039 In a seemingly effortless performance, Francis Riley of the Capital Hill Interns shot down the Greenport Harbor Whales 2-0 on a 2-hit shutout. "Francis was just locating so well and using his pitches," Capital Hill manager Francisco Fernández said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Riley recorded 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Greenport manager Austin Brown said in his postgame comments to BNN.
