Michael Cherry of the Hicksville Hounds had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2039.

The 20-year-old center fielder put up a .321 average and a .385 on-base percentage, piling up 126 hits, 15 doubles, 5 triples, 7 home runs, 41 RBIs and 60 runs scored.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Robbie Care of the Hicksville Hounds finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Pedro Marrero of the Ladue Rams finished third.
