Best SR Reliever Named Sunday, September 25th, 2039 Martin Rumbolt said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 20 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Quebec City Baby Blues rising star has won the USSL Rookie Reliever of the Year Award for 2039. He captured the award on the strength of his 2.19 ERA over 65.2 innings. He also had 3 saves in 31 relief appearances, 86 strikeouts and only 16 walks. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ipe van Veldhuizen of the Ballard Beavers finished second in voting, while Mark Taylor of the Quebec City Baby Blues finished third.
