SR Player of the Week, Rocha of Ellesmere Island Monday, September 5th, 2039 The top batter in the USSL Rookie last week was Francisco Rocha, who batted .400 and towered above everybody with a 7-game hitting barrage. During the week Rocha banged out a .400 batting average (12-for-30), 3 home runs, 5 runs batted in and scored 9 runs. Today the Ellesmere Island center fielder received the SR Player of the Week Award. This year Rocha has hit at a .272 clip with 107 hits, 13 home runs, 45 RBIs and 59 runs scored. |
