USSL Rookie #1 Hurler is Ross Thursday, September 1st, 2039 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the USSL Rookie winner is Long Island bullpen ace, Doug Ross. For his fine efforts in August he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, the Ducks star excelled with no saves in no save opportunities, a 2.01 ERA and 3 wins and no losses. In 31.1 innings he struck out 51 and gave up 21 hits and 4 walks. Thus far this season Ross has saved 2 games. His won-lost mark is 6 wins and 1 loss with 122 strikeouts in 69.2 innings, along with a 1.68 ERA. |
