Care Brings Home SR Batter of Month Honor Thursday, September 1st, 2039 Robbie Care is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Hicksville right fielder joined that select company when the USSL Rookie announced the results of August's voting. Care totaled 29 hits, 25 walks, no home runs, 15 RBIs and 17 runs scored last month to put together a .408 batting average and .562 on-base percentage. Care is batting .328 this season in 90 games with 3 home runs, 53 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 114 hits in 348 at-bats. |
