Ramón González Out for Season Friday, August 19th, 2039 The season is apparently over for Ramón González. The Phoenix Hotspur Academy medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 6-7 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. González was hurt in the game against Moose Jaw while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. In 17 starts this season, González has picked up 2 wins while suffering 7 losses. He has pitched 97 innings, allowed 105 hits, struck out 90 and posted a 3.53 ERA. |
