Katsuhiko Fujii Out for Season Tuesday, August 16th, 2039 Katsuhiko Fujii has to call it a season. The Moose Jaw Canucks starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Quebec City Baby Blues and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Fujii was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 11 months. On the season Fujii has compiled a 1-14 mark with a 4.50 ERA in 19 starts. In pitching 102 innings he has 85 strikeouts and 25 walks while limiting the opposition to a .308 batting average. |
