Martin Fires Shutout in Phoenix Win Sunday, July 10th, 2039 Edward Martin hurled nothing but zeros at the Long Island Ducks in an impressive outing at Ducks Park today. The Phoenix pitcher allowed 3 hits, fanned 6 and walked 1 in blanking Long Island, 2-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout today," Long Island manager Martin Stewart said. "Not a fun day." This season Martin has a 3-3 record with a 5.46 ERA.
