Franklin's Edrada Suspended for 4 Games Saturday, July 9th, 2039 "Deplorable conduct will not be tolerated in this league, especially if it is directed toward our umpires." That was the gist of the league commissioner's notification letter to the Franklin Fire organization advising them that right fielder Felino Edrada had been suspended for 4 games for his heated confrontation with the home plate umpire in yesterday's game with Moose Jaw. He became furious over a called third strike. Batting .157 to date, Edrada has no home runs and 7 RBIs. |
