PR Announces Pitcher of the Year Award Tuesday, September 27th, 2039 Claude Khatoon of the Surprise Shockers fired on all cylinders in 2039 and dominated USPL Rookie batters. For his superb season he has been selected the Pitcher of the Year Award winner. During the year Khatoon compiled a 10-4 record, a 2.48 ERA and 172 strikeouts while working 137.2 innings. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Josuke Okumura of the Redwood Rhinos finished second in voting, while Earl Hurdle of the Indiana Lead Sox finished third.
