The hard-working and hard-playing John Wilkerson was rewarded with the USPL Rookie Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Indiana Lead Sox center fielder hit .476 while collecting 10 hits in 21 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBIs. So far this year in 74 games Wilkerson is hitting .271 with 8 home runs, 49 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
