Red-Hot Bat: Carson Collects Cycle Sunday, August 7th, 2039 At The Stage in Memphis today, Tim Carson led Hudsonville to a 8-1 victory over the Memphis Music by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Carson said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-5, Carson chalked up 2 runs batted in and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance. Tim Carson tripled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Anathapinda Sahar in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
