Serna on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, June 13th, 2039 So far in his young career, Ricardo Serna has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Chesapeake Continentals right fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 11 hits in 22 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Serna is batting .309 with 3 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
