PAA's #1 Starter is Combs Thursday, September 1st, 2039 John Combs hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning USPL Double A Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the San Bernardino starter earned a 3-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 33 innings, struck out 19 and compiled a solid 1.91 ERA. To date this season, Combs has registered 12 starts, 5-4 won-lost mark, 3.63 ERA, 74.1 IP, 41 strikeouts and 15 walks. Opposing teams have hit .260 against him. |
