Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Springfield Friday, August 19th, 2039 The Springfield Shooters playoff hopes were already minuscule at best, but even those faint hopes have been dashed. The team was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs today. The Shooters have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 24 years as a USPL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 12th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2026. |
