Chesapeake Continentals Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 18th, 2039 Not even the most diehard Chesapeake Continentals fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Continentals were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. The Continentals have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 24 years as a USPL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 20th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2018. |
