Akron 1B Mayo Suspended Tuesday, August 30th, 2039 Akron first baseman Mathew Mayo was suspended 4 games for his actions during a recent game against the Athletic Club KC Academy. The home plate umpire tossed him after Mayo heatedly disputed a called-third strike. The Blimps said he would begin serving the suspension immediately. This season Mayo is batting .200 with 7 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 5 times and has 4 RBI. |
