Akron Loses Ismael Pérez, Will Miss Season Monday, August 1st, 2039 The season is finished for Ismael Pérez of the Akron Blimps. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Blimps starting pitcher suffered a ruptured finger tendon while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Bethesda Atoms. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal.
