SAAA Star of the Week Named Monday, August 29th, 2039 The premier performer in the USSL Triple A this week was Bill Poole of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves. The hot-hitting 32-year-old catcher put up a .500 average and .571 on-base percentage, piling up 6 hits in 12 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SAAA Player of the Week honors. Poole is swinging at a .226 pace on the year with 5 home runs, 31 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has played in 73 games. |
