Player of the Week: Vermont's Kandic Monday, August 15th, 2039 So far in his young career, Dragoljub Kandic has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Vermont Lake Monsters first baseman hit at a torrid .550 clip as he collected 11 hits in 20 at-bats, no home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Presently Kandic is batting .328 with 86 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 45 runs and scored 46 times. |
