Texas Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 22nd, 2039 The playoff hopes of the Texas Bronze Sox -- which were already faint at best -- are now completely extinguished. The team will miss the playoffs this year, being mathematically eliminated from contention today. The Bronze Sox have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 24 years as a USPL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2035. In the last 10 seasons, the Bronze Sox have missed the playoffs 5 times.
