Cottongame Bangs 3 HR Against Sacramento Friday, August 19th, 2039 Fans are still buzzing after Santa Barbara whipped the Sacramento Redlegs by the score of 5-4 today at Crane Field. Braxton Cottongame smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 4 hits in 5 at-bats, had 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Cottongame said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Cottongame said. "Three is just... wow." Braxton Cottongame flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off César Sandoval in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Broderick Evans in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Broderick Evans in the 11th.
