6-for-6 Day for Pending Thursday, August 18th, 2039 Pat Pending exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Lynx Stadium. The Alaskan left fielder had a field day in the 13-10 triumph over the Calgary Lynx, finishing 6-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Pending must have focused at least 6 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Pat Pending singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Edgardo Nava in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
