Toussaint Sizzles -- Smokes Redlegs for 5 Hits Sunday, July 3rd, 2039 It was a parade of hits for Guy Toussaint of the Brinkley Belugas at Belugas Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Toussaint finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Belugas to a 11-0 victory. "Toussaint was really good and we were really bad," groaned Redlegs manager Rich Hunter. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Guy Toussaint hit a solo-shot off Miguel Garza in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
