M3L Triple A #1 Hurler is Watanabe Saturday, October 1st, 2039 Mokichi Watanabe hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In September the Athletic Club KC starter earned a 3-0 mark in 3 starts. He threw 21.1 innings, struck out 10 and compiled a solid 2.53 ERA. In his career-to-date, the 26-year-old Watanabe has fashioned a 10-9 mark, 4.88 ERA and thrown 129 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .248 lifetime against him and he has logged 86 total strikeouts. |
