Augusta's LaBarge to Miss Season Thursday, August 25th, 2039 A blow for Jared LaBarge today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with shoulder inflammation. LaBarge suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Augusta Timber Hawks are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about LaBarge's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. During this season LaBarge has delivered 6 saves. In 30 relief appearances, he has 35 strikeouts in 38.2 innings with a 3.03 ERA and 3 wins and no losses. |
