3AAA Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 15th, 2039 José Vera burst onto the M3L Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for Houston garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .412 (7-for-17) with 3 home runs and 4 RBIs last week. This year Vera has hit at a .343 clip with 70 hits, 9 home runs, 39 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
