3L's #1 Starter is Walker Saturday, October 1st, 2039 The Menard's Third League hitters didn't have a chance in September when the Cleveland Browns manager wrote "Walker" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, Tim Walker held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and 0.67 ERA in 4 starts. The talented Browns star pitched 26.2 innings, fanned 16 and held opposing teams to a .156 average. For his superb mound work Walker was named the 3L Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This year Walker has fashioned a 14-0 mark, 2.26 ERA and pitched 107.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .195 against him and he has logged 90 strikeouts. |
