Mario Castillo said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport.

The D.C. Divided catcher announced today that this season will be his last.

"It's Freedom 37," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement."

Lifetime Castillo is batting .239 with 194 hits, 42 home runs, 124 runs scored and 126 RBIs.
