Cannon Sends Montana Bats to Deep Freeze Tuesday, September 13th, 2039 Everything clicked on the hill today for Jay Cannon as he hurled the Cleveland Browns to a 7-0 shutout win over the Montana Pandas, limiting them to 5 hits while recording 7 strikeouts and yielding 1 walk. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Pandas manager Andrew Schupick said. "We just weren't able to get to him." Up to now Cannon has compiled an ERA of 4.58 with a 4-6 mark over 13 starts.
