Montana-Panama City Trade: Tacuri for Dickinson Friday, August 5th, 2039 After prolonged negotiations Montana agreed to ship 20-year-old minor league RHP Sergio Tacuri and 20-year-old minor league RHP De Dion-Bouton to Panama City for 29-year-old C Tom Dickinson. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." Panama City will retain a portion of Dickinson's remaining contract. This season Dickinson has hit at a .291 clip with 32 RBIs, 0 home runs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 62 games. |
