Ft. Worth's Tobías, Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Friday, November 4th, 2039 Gustavo Tobías was really special this season. You could feel the electricity in the air every time he took the mound for the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Today he was honored by his selection as the 2039 United States Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award recipient. He started 26 games, logging 152 innings, 10 wins, 7 losses, 96 strikeouts and a 3.55 ERA. Tobías gave up 146 hits, while walking 35 and holding opponents to a .249 average. Kevin Nogilny of the Oakland Oaks finished second in voting, while Zhao-ji Qiu of the Buffalo White Walkers finished third. |
