SL's #1 Batter Announced Saturday, October 1st, 2039 Jesús Encarnación may be much younger than other hitters in the United States Silver League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Buckhead right fielder hit .366 with 9 home runs, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored. In 109 games this season Encarnación is batting .308 with 128 hits and 37 home runs.
