Qing-nian Zexian, the St. Louis Coeur 24-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 26 at-bats, compiling a .423 average with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. So far this year Zexian has hit .329 with 19 home runs, 60 RBIs and 58 runs scored. |
