Season May Be Over for Bowties Otomo Wednesday, August 17th, 2039 The doctors have spoken and Yajirobei Otomo of the Buckhead Bowties didn't like what he heard. The 34-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Otomo sustained his season-ending injury during the St. Louis Coeur game yesterday at 5 Paces Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Buckhead medical staff reported Otomo had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 12-13 months. Otomo has no saves in 24 relief appearances this season with a 2-1 record and 2.35 ERA. |
