USPL Single A Winner is Amanap Monday, September 5th, 2039 23-year-old Y-Tic Amanap made a few Provo headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .522 average. Amanap collected 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs. This year Amanap has batted at a .283 pace with 89 hits, 10 home runs, 49 RBIs and scored 42 times. |
