Tasis Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 22nd, 2039 The USPL Single A has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Bartolo Tasis, center fielder of the Galesburg Guzzlers. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .562 pace to win the award. Tasis went 9-for-16 for the week, totaled 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 4 times. So far this season Tasis has 4 home runs and a .268 batting average. |
