Season Ends for Li-chi Lou of Galesburg
Friday, July 29th, 2039
The doctors have spoken and Li-chi Lou of the Galesburg Guzzlers didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Lou sustained his season-ending injury during the Eugene Vandals game yesterday at The Riot Zone. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Galesburg medical staff reported Lou had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months.

This season Lou has worked 56 innings with 48 strikeouts en route to a 4-4 record and a 4.66 ERA.
