Injury Sidelines Joe Martin For Year Friday, July 1st, 2039 The season is apparently over for Joe Martin. The Provo Mango medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 12 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Martin was hurt in the game against South Beach while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Martin has 17 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 0-0 with 44 strikeouts in 29.2 innings and a 4.25 ERA. |
