Corona Belts 5 Hits
Sunday, June 19th, 2039
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Mt. Vernon's 2-1 win over Grand Forks today, second baseman Claudio Corona was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Corona said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Claudio Corona singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.

Thus far this season in 17 games Corona is batting .242 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 16 hits in 66 at-bats.
