Hunt Sensational, 5-for-5 Thursday, June 9th, 2039 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, Matthew Hunt said his club's tilt with the Grand Forks Caterpillars "felt almost like batting practice." The 23-year-old second baseman went a remarkable 5-for-5 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Cape Coral Reefers, who were topped by the Caterpillars, 1-0. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," Reefers manager Jared Gilbert said. "Sometimes Matthew is going to lose. But I would rather him go 5-for-5 and lose than go 0-for-5 and lose." Matthew Hunt singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 11th.
