Padilla Wins 3A's Best Bat Trophy Monday, August 1st, 2039 Rafael Padilla is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Athletic Club KC right fielder joined that select company when the M3L Single A announced the results of July's voting. Padilla totaled 32 hits, 5 walks, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored last month to put together a .308 batting average and .342 on-base percentage. This year Padilla has collected a .262 batting average to date with 74 hits in 282 at-bats, 45 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 42 times. He has played in 69 games. |
