Winters Wins 3A Player of the Week Prize Monday, August 1st, 2039 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Single A, but last week Jesse Winters of the Grand Forks Caterpillars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Winters rocked opposing pitching for a .318 average (7-for-22), 5 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Winters is batting .239 with 43 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 33 times and has batted in 32 runs. |
