Athletic Club KC's Moyer to Miss Season Monday, July 4th, 2039 The Athletic Club KC U-24 were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Mark Moyer left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Moyer has suffered radial nerve compression and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This season Moyer has a 2-2 mark in 8 starts with a 5.03 ERA. He has given up 65 hits in 48.1 innings, struck out 23 and issued 14 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .319 batting average against him. |
