Bowties Drop Another One
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC beat the Buckhead Bowties, 8-6, at 5 Paces Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Cord Hosenbeck, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. Greg Hoover picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 6 earned runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4.
